Over $2m being put back into our local community in wages & local spending
ALORA strives to make a positive impact on our local community by spending local and remaining dedicated to our staff of locals. From October 1, 2023 to September 30, 2024
- In 2024, ALMR spent $1.1m, 75% of which were local expenditures
- In 2024, ALMR paid $1.1m in wages to local personnel
- With over to $2m in expenses going into the local economy, ALMR is proud to continue supporting and advocating for local spending through Outdoor Recreation.

Year-round Youth Programming

Ski for the Health of It
- Offered to Baker and North Powder students (about 300 students)
- 8 consecutive Fridays of skiing for just $80
- Priority given to those who have little to no skiing experience
- Additional school and youth groups visit during a normal season. With upwards of 350 students on the mountain on Fridays, ALMR sees an additional 200 kids from other programs on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
5th & 6th Grade Sundays
- Free lift ticket, lesson, and rental for any (local or visiting) 5th and 6th graders
- Eight consecutive Sundays, starting early January
- $20 “accompanying adult” ticket available
- ALORA plans to initiate a similar program for the golf course as well
Golf for the Health of It
- Eight week/12-day golf program for 80 Baker County youth
- An additional k-3 class was added due to continued interest
Bike for the Health of It
- Three bike events held throughout the summer
- Forty bikes and helmets available to ride for free
- Free hot dog/BBQ for families that showed up
- Guided rides, bike safety, and maintenance clinics
