Peter Johnson
President

Peter Johnson
President
Born and raised in Madras Oregon, Peter grew up splitting time skiing Mt. Bachelor and Ski Bowl. After graduating from the University of Oregon with a degree in Sociology, Peter moved on to pursue his passion – skiing. Peter joined the Mt. Bachelor Ski Patrol where he patrolled for almost 10 years. During the summer months, Peter worked for Dopplmeyer building lifts all over the west. From time to time (and as often as he could) Peter would sneak away to ski at Anthony Lakes. Having visited Anthony Lakes as a kid, it quickly became one of his favorite places.
In 2011, Peter became the General Manager of his favorite ski hill. Walking into a then failing business, Peter worked to hire good management, clean up deferred maintenance, and turn the ski area into the special place that everyone knows and loves today.
In 2024, Peter became President of Anthony Lakes Outdoor Recreation Association, overseeing its entities and continuing to bring fun and laughter to the business model.

Chelsea has been a part of Anthony Lakes since then (with a short hiatus in the cattle industry) and has poured her passion for the industry into the ski area and the organization as a whole.

Ian Warner
Mountain Manager, Anthony Lakes Mountain Resort
Ian Warner
Mountain Manager, Anthony Lakes Mountain Resort
Ian Warner is no stranger to the term “work hard, play hard(er).” Growing up in the Northeast corner of Oregon, Ian’s family ran the local dirtbike track and it is here where Ian’s passion for throttles started. At a young age, Ian learned the importance of working hard. He learned everything from customer service to wrenching on equipment and most importantly, Ian learned how to ride a dirt bike – and he does it well.
Fast forward a few decades of building log homes, framing, and other building jobs, a convenient layoff landed Ian in the ski industry. In 2004, Ian had his first taste of being a lift operator at Anthony Lakes where he spent three winters. With a massive mechanic and building background, Ian quickly found himself Mountain Manager at Ski Bluewood in 2008. In 2014, Ian had the opportunity to come back to Anthony Lakes as the Mountain Manager. Over the past ten years, Ian has brought Anthony Lakes’ infrastructure to better than new condition and he adds his smile and “dad jokes” to every day.
When he’s not at work (which is NOT often), Ian is ripping up mountains on his snowmobile or tearing up dirt on his motorcycle and doing it all with his two daughters.
